"Swedish Ginger" (Peucedanum palustre) - frost-resistant "ginger" - 20 fresh seeds
Other name: milk parsley
An umbelliferous perennial (hardy to zones 5/6), the roots of which have a ginger-like flavor, were formerly harvested from the wild for spice or even cultivated in gardens. It has a strong aroma and a bitter taste. The roots were candied or dried, added to coffee, liqueurs, or sweet baked goods. It is rare in the trading. Seeds require cooling to germinate (it is best to sow them immediately after receiving them in the garden – at the end of summer or in autumn to allow for natural stratification). Package of 20 fresh seeds (harvested in the summer of 2025).
