Hardy perennial Four-o'clock (Oxybaphus nyctagineus) - 7 fresh seeds
Other name: Mirabilis nyctagineus, Heart-leaved Umbrella-wort, Heartleaf Four-o’clock.
The exotic perennial (frost-hardy to zones 6/7) native to USA. Sometimes cultivated for ornamental purposes in gardens in Central Europe and escaped to wild. Its flowers are small, but the large, umbrella-shaped coverings of inflorescences are highly ornamental. A close cousin of the Four-o'clock Flower (Mirabilis jalapa). It is rare in the trade. Seeds require cooling period to germinate (it is best to sow them in the garden – in late summer or autumn – to allow for natural stratification). Package of 7 fresh seeds (harvested in the summer of 2025).
