Tomato 'Adolf' - (Solanum arcanum x lycopersicon x habrochaites) (F2) - 7 seeds

This variety was created by crossing a hybrid of a cultivated tomato with Solanum habrochaites and a hybrid we created of two other wild tomato species. We don't know the stability of this hybrid. The plant is self-compatible, so a single plant is sufficient for fruiting. The fruit of this variety is approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in size. They have a unique, amber-orange color, are hairy, and have a distinctive flavor—different from commonly cultivated tomato varieties. 'Adolf' has approximately 45% of its genes derived from the cultivated tomato. We offer seeds here that will produce F2 generation plants. The photos show F1 plants—those that produced F2 seeds. The F1 plants were fully resistant to potato blight. Whether this trait will persist in subsequent generations is unknown. Creating this variety took us a lot of work and time. It's worth trying this variety, as it has a unique flavor. If you're passionate about growing unique tomato varieties, you've come to the right place. This is our new creation—we're the only sellers of this variety. Each package contains 7 fresh seeds.
