Giant foxtail grass (Setaria magna) - a giant, annual grass - 25 fresh seeds
This giant grass grows in the wild state in North America (USA). It's a cousin of the foxtail grass (Setaria italica), sometimes cultivated for ornamental purposes in our country. It's similar to it but much larger. It reaches 2.5 to 5 meters in height (7-20ft). It likes plenty of moisture and sun. It blooms in late summer. It looks truly impressive in the garden. The grains are probably edible. This plant is difficult to buying in Europe. Seeds should be sown in pots in spring (or directly in a permanent location in the garden). They germinate quite slowly, after about 1-1.5 months. This package contains 25 fresh seeds (harvested in the fall of 2024 and stored in an airtight bag in a cool place for longer viability).
