Tomato 'Braliant Idiot' - (Solanum arcanum x lycopersicon x peruvianum x pennellii x habrochaites) (F2) - 8 seeds
This variety was created by crossing a hybrid of the cultivated tomato with Solanum habrochaites and a hybrid we created of three other wild tomato species and a wild form of the cultivated tomato (a total of 5 species) We don't know the stability of this hybrid. The plant is self-compatible, so a single plant is sufficient for fruiting. The fruit of this variety is approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch) in size. They have a unique, greenish-brown color, are hairy, and have a very unique flavor—completely different from known tomato varieties. 'Braliant Idiot' has about 30% of its genes derived from the cultivated tomato. We're offering seeds here that will produce F2 generation plants. The photos show F1 plants—those that produced F2 seeds. The F1 plants were fully resistant to potato blight. Whether this trait will persist in subsequent generations—we don't know. Creating this variety took years of our working. The fruit of this variety is worth trying – the taste is truly indescribable, they're extraordinary. If you're passionate about growing unique tomato varieties, you've come to the right place. This is our new creation - we are the only sellers of this variety. The package contains 8 fresh seeds.
