
Siberian Currant - Ribes latifolium - rare fruit shrub.
The shrub about 1,5-2m (= 5-7ft) tall. Very frost hardy. Native to Siberia, Japan and China. Fruits edible, mealy, acidous, tasty, good for preserves, liquers or wine. Ripens in August. Rarity in trading. Seeds needs to germination a few months of coldness (the best to sow them in autumn in cold cellar or cold frame). Package 10 fresh seeds.
