This plant is similar to the well-known European sweet nightshade (S. dulcamara), but with larger fruit and larger, whitish flowers. It originates from Texas (USA). It is quite frost-hardy – with a protective cover, it will survive in USDA zones 6/7. The seeds germinate easily without any sowing pre-treatment. They require surface sowing or very shallow sowing. This plant is extremely rare in commercial production. Packets of 10 seeds. Only a few packets are available.
