Dwarf Buckeye (Aesculus sylvatica) - 5 seeds
A shrub or small tree reaching a height of approximately 3–3.5 meters (after many years). It produces highly ornamental, reddish flower clusters and is prized for its compact size, making it suitable even for small gardens. It begins to bear fruit just a few years after sowing. In our garden, it grows in relatively dry, light soil and tolerates partial shade well. The seeds are not edible. Their husks are smooth—lacking spines—and pear-shaped. Seeds should be sown immediately upon receipt in a cool cellar or outdoors (with the sowing site covered), or stratified in slightly moist sphagnum moss over the winter and sown in the spring. Sold as a pack of 5 viable, moist-stored seeds. Purchase available only within the European Union.
