Byzantine Chervil - Chaerophyllum byzantinum - Turkish spice - 20 fresh seeds
The umbelliferous perennial that winters well in zones 6/7. In Turkey, its young shoots are used as a spice, which is why the plant was introduced to some Central and Western European countries by the Turks. It has a pleasant strong aroma. It is rare in the trade. Its seeds or seedlings are difficult to buying. Seeds require cool to germinate (it is best to sow them immediately after receiving them in the garden – in late summer or autumn – to allow for natural stratification). Package of 20 fresh seeds (harvested in the summer of 2025).
