The beautiful, evergreen shrub from Australia, classified as a nightshade in the Archaesolanum section. Highly ornamental, it produces edible (when fully ripe), delicious fruit. It can be grown as an annual, but requires early sowing. This species is rarely found in the trading. Seeds should be sown shallowly in pots in late winter or very early spring. They germinate slowly – within 1-1.5 months, sometimes even slower. Packet of 20 fresh seeds (harvested in the summer of 2025).
