Tomato 'Christina Teresa' - (Solanum arcanum x lycopersicon) (F3) - 12 seeds

We created a hybrid of a wild tomato species (S. arcanum) and a wild, cultivated tomato. It is likely not fully stable. The fruit is bicolored and has a very good flavor. The F1 and F2 generation plants were resistant to late blight, but we don't know how this trait will hold in subsequent generations. The 'Christina Teresa' tomato has 50% of its genes derived from the field tomato (S. lycopersicon). We offer seeds that will produce F3 generation plants. The photos show F2 plants—those that produced F3 seeds. Obtaining this hybrid wasn't easy, as we had to combine species from two tomato groups that are very difficult to cross. This is the result of many years of work, and it's truly successful. This variety produces unique-looking and very tasty fruit and is also disease-resistant. It is the result of selection - we also have another very similar hybrid whose fruits are pure red. If you're passionate about growing unusual tomato varieties, you've come to the right place. The package contains 12 fresh seeds.
