A cousin of garden sorrel, it grows wild in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, the Balkans, and Greece. This perennial plant about 2 m (=7ft) tall, whose leaves are used like spinach and highly valued as a tasty early spring or winter vegetable, is frost-hardy to at least zone 6. The seeds require no pre-sowing treatment. It's best sown directly into their permanent garden location. This package contains 25 fresh seeds (harvested in the summer of 2025).
