Yam Daisy (Microseris lanceolata) - 5 seeds
An Australian cousin of the daisy, its tuberous roots were an important food for the Aborigines. They have a pleasant, nutty flavor. Seeds are best sown surface in March in spring, in a warm place (greenhouse, on a windowsill, etc.). After frosts, the plants can be placed outdoors. The plant should have light, well-drained soil. It will likely tolerate only light frosts. We recommend overwintering it in a greenhouse or indoors (almost) dry. A pack of 5 fresh seeds is available. Only a few packs are available for sale.
